Olivier Duchesneau

Coach for Sport-Studies and Competitive aspects Competition and high-performance coordinator.

 Coach at the ARO diving club since the fall of 2014, Olivier graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports intervention from Laval University, class of 2017.

He has been involved in diving since 1998. He was an athlete for 14 years, first with the Carp diving club (four years) and subsequently with the CAMO diving club (ten years) where he dove and began his coaching career. He has participated numerous times in the junior and senior national championships as an athlete.

Certified competition-introduction level of the national coaching certification program and trained competition-development level (NCCP), Olivier has athletes from hopeful level up to the Canadian senior level. His greatest success was winning the title of junior coach of the year and personality of the year for the 2018-2019 season at the Gala Plongeon Québec.

BEST RESULTS OF OLIVIER ATHLETES:

  • 3 medals including 2 gold during the 2017 Canadian Junior Development Championships.
  • 3 medals including 1 gold at the 2019 Canadian Junior Elite Championships.
  • 3 medals including 2 gold from the 2019 Canadian Junior Development Championships.
  • 4 medals including 1 gold during the 2019 Junior Pan American Games in Chile.
  • 3 athletes on the Canada junior team
